Another in the Freemerchant Series. Taking place a few months after the events of "Three Nights in Shayadran", with our heroes transporting the remains of their fallen Master Trader back to his homeworld of Latmino. Unfortunately, upon returning home they discover Latmino is in the midst of a civil war, as the result of a family feud gone sour. Not only must they be the bearers of bad news, but soon they find themselves trapped in the middle of a conflict involving old noble families, corrup politicians, and ruthless mercenaries. Our heroes soon try to find out who is behind the war, and what they can do to stop it...before they're caught in the crossfire.
